Deployment of the defense, target by target is cumbersome and time consuming. There are many targets and planning quantities of weapons, putting priorities to different types of targets is difficult.
The game has an automatic deployment feature for defending garrisons at all cities, factories and fortifications. You can decide to protect your cities better than you protect your corporations or the other way round by deploying larger garrisons to different types of targets.
