The Common Market >> Making it work. Status: Please read our response

Detailed Description:

Hey, I recently read a poll about the common market and I'd just like to build on it a little. My idea goes something like this.

<< Set auto offering to the common market >>

There should be a check box to toggle this on/off.

 []Offer __% of monthly production

This would be a user set % of the production for that month, not a % of the maximum production

 []local
 []common
 []local, and common

Confirm

At this point each month it would set the common market for you. It would cancel contracts that it could not deliver, and offer it's monthly production

<< Auto accepting contracts >>

On/Off toggle.

 [] Accept local
 [] Accept Local, and common
[] Accept local, and common market contracts

Confirm

This would auto take contracts. New, canceled, ect.

As to the order in which contracts should be offered and accepted:

1. Corps: cancel contracts in excess of produtcion, offering the set % of production in contracts for the common market at the start of each month
2. Corps/Countries: Accept offered contracts
3. Contracts delivered at the end of the month
4. Rinse, wash, repeat, go back to 1 and start over

Also a report of all offered contracts for each month with the current supply/demand from the common market, like the world supply/demand would be great.

Furthermore the prices should be set at the world market price per month, quality adjusted of course and should not be held at any set price other then the worlds market price

For those of you who don't like long reads:

Vote yes for a much cleaner common market system.

Vote no if you enjoy slugging through the current system every month turnover to ensure production is contracted

36 gamers voted for the proposal.
7 gamers voted against the proposal.

The proposal has been ACCEPTED.

W3Creative reaction:

The planned improvement of the common market will take these ideas into account. Thanks for the effort, it will help us reshape the common market and make it easier to use.
