I think that countries should have landscape. Some with mountain ranges, others full of lakes, and so on. It could either increase or decrease the defensive index by natural defenses. Signed: Skittles

Will it be fair? Most players? use the country assigned to them and are not experienced enough at the start to make a different choice. Then they will discover that topography costs them more.

We also allow countries with no coast, to have a navy.
