Something seems to have been done to corporate employment and manpower beyond the usual growing and tweaking. It could be a change to the way that upgrades effect the manpower requirements. Net effect of whatever change was made is to use up far more LLWs and MLWs, and free up HLWs and techs.
I'm going to ride it out for a little bit to see whether this isn't a rebound from another more "normal" manpower change made just the other day.

yup i'm the same and when you have countries sitting on 96% employment it sure looks bad for a while.

I think more LLMs are used as well. I've gone from 50k surpluses to shortages in one month in 6 of my countries.

And then, suddenly, I'm back at a large surplus of LLMs.

Did you know that the trademark “W3C” w3.org , is the trademark for the “World Wide Web Consortium” ? I wonder if they are one in the same and/or an affiliate? Maybe the unannounced “swings” we see in the game are a result of their game of poker bets gone sour at their “board meetings”. But I’m sure that’s very unlikely, lol. I don’t think Jossi plays cards anyway , at least in Bilthoven (notice how that seems to be a favorite Corp name here, lol), I think the favorite pastime is riding his bicycle anyway. I thought they put up new servers to speed the game up too. I’m on a T1 line and it’s like being back up on dial-up . Maybe these explain it, sent in by the “Consortium” Agents.

Welcome to “Bilthoven”

Hmmm, While examining my Country today, it’s employment within all the Corps was at 100%, during a “refresh” of the page, employment dropped to “on average” 81% in every Corps. Interesting ….. What could have caused this? Upon further examination, I noted that the requirements for the job classifications High Tech Engineers, High Tech Seniors and High Tech Executives skyrocketed, resulting in an instantaneous “shortage” in every Corp utilizing this career field. No “upgrades” were processed, as all are at 200 level anyway. The answer …….. The Game God’s, once again, making “adjustments” to employment parameters. That’s it !!, has to be.
Time to scramble … sent all Immigration Officials to every “People Factory” Country I have (no soylent green here, we use them, not “eat” them, lol) and granted a “no waiting” policy to new employment. Hopefully, in a game month or two, production and employment will be back to 100%. Unless, the Game God’s loose another card game bet somewhere.
The saga continues ………………….
