What if weapons were stationed at forts, and defended a defined area around the forts, such that a fairly reasonable number of forts could cover the whole country. The defined area being based on the coordinate system, with the forts coodinates being the center.

Another VERY easy sugegstion: Remove the darned declaration limits, which now appear to work both ways (limited to 12 wars an aggressor can declare, and 12 wars which can be declared on any country).

Its pathetically easy to abuse, and frustrating!!!

So how many does that make, just for the sake of recording it? Thousands of Fortifcations, constantly built corporations to take advantage of the unhittable ones, war declaration limit, peace-only conversion during or before a war, and starndard shared air defenses of millions of units. Did I miss any? :)

I find myself in the weird position of appreciating the complexity of the game more, while wanting to lave it more at the same time due to issues with balance and competitiveness.

Maybe w3c should call a moratorium on player-player wars until The peace only implementation is finished, and the rest of the kinks are worked out. Or, alternatively, forever.
