Hey Avalanche: low taxes are a detriment in this world. Unlimited corp growth will kill them off faster than a million jeeps!!!
There is a luxury tax on the corps that kicks in and makes them unprofitable after a certain point
Good luck-------Ian

-And may I ask:

depends..............if it is a mature country, most of us are at 70/0 or thereabouts.
If the corps are newer then you want to come this a little to allow them to build a little

Avalanche you might want to look at the corps you picked as well, below is a list of corporations in order of profitability that I currently have,

Rank Product Name
1 Traintrack Maintenance
2 Road Maintenance
3 Oil
4 Traintracks
5 University
6 Jewelry
7 Gasoline
8 Fruit Juice
9 Airplanes
10 Water Maintenance
11 Building Materials
12 Furniture
13 High Tech Services
14 Software
15 Poultry
16 Butter
17 Clothes
18 Tea
19 Bread
20 Production Plants
21 Electric Power
22 Luxury Goods
23 Vacation
24 Services
25 Cars

Note that alot of corporations are not on the list but if you stick to have first 5 or 6 you will most certainly have the best corps possible to build in the game,

*NOTE* These corps are fully upgraded, buy their supplies at Market Price, sell thier goods at 150% above market price, and have salaries at 500%.

Any corps are welcome if you can find a niche in terms of available staff a stable tax rate of 22% and a demand that if i need supplies for my corps that i get a discount to market price. Other than that all enterprise is welcome in my country. As is bidding for my state corps which are really upgraded and have high salary levels. ANy corps should be upgraded often and salaries raised to the max to increase tax collections via the population and allow more profitable trading.

As ive said before getting in on this offer - just look up ollobrains - well established workforce and room aplenty for CEO corps - as i am trying to reduce my state corps so focus can shift to other areas of the game. 22% corps tax rate so come on and make me an offer. 6 private corps are already signed up and more expected quickly.
