I agree, there should be more than one seat per fed. Like you said this way votes can come into play. And as the rankings change, there could be also changes in the seat privilages.

Wow, Matty!! That was well thought out. That actually looks balanced. You will do well in politics. So far that is the best template proposed. Non-Hybrid CEOs please step forward. Well people better get on the GC bandwagon. The 12M are stepping up. Some of the smaller GDP players are stepping up. There are some power players like Hymy, Turkiye, and Faith that have come to the table. Whether you think its going to work or not, do not get left out of the decision making process. Hate to sound like a commercial.

My 11 country Treborian Empire would be unrepresented in GC in the above scenario. I would have to hope the second half of the mutual defence league, namely Ellie's country Almoth, would be one of the lucky ones in Turan Federation to be nominated a seat. Then I'd have to hope the info would be passed to me in MDL.

Appreciate the efforts of Grey in trying to start things moving, I just think a few more tweeks need to be done as I would like to have a seat on the GC and think my empire is big enough to qualify.

Maybe it's as simple as those in a situation like me put their hand up if they want representation direct rather than relying on if a country from another empire in another Fed wants to pass the message on. You may need to have reached certain criteria to qualify (no. countries, GDP and/or military).

Challenge though will be the only 25 seats available so unfortunately all Feds will not be represented what ever formula is devised, unless the GC forum is moved to TNN etc.

My preference also would be either to keep the GC forum once created in either SC or TNN, I wouldn't be keen on having to visit a 3rd site daily to keep up with things (eg MSN, Yahoo etc).

Well done to all who are trying to move this forward, the communication will go a long way to avoiding the potential for a future all out world fed war.

Well… maybe there could be two councils. This is just an idea.
Military golden council:

This one would focus on peace talks, current wars, and potential conflicts.

Members would be appointed based on their military power and their lever of expertise in the war aspect of the game.

Economic golden council:

This one of course would focus on the economy. Finding ways to grow together. Trade contracts etc, common market, share, you know scuff like that.

This way this two aspect can be separated and dealt accordingly. And also it would allow those more feds to be represented.

Just an idea (don’t tell me is stupid, just smile and nod :))

Just had a few conversations with Dule. He is in. He suggested the TNN site would be perfect, to include CEOs. The voting mechanism is there already. The GC can stay for tabling discussions that are brought up on the TNN Forum. Sort of a sub-committee approach. Just a thought.

yes i like the idea of a forum rather then of a Federation. 2 reasons 1. because we can have more members and 2. because that way members of the GC wouldn't have to leave the feds they are in at present and we wouldn't just be making a super fed because it would contain world powers

(just a thought)

but just another idea

isn't that what the BB is all about anywayz (to talk about those sort of problems that Imerio talked about). all haveing a GC in TNN would do is perhaps make it more restricted to "members" rather then every player.

Which is the way it should be if you ask me. How many times have you seen things get escalated on the BB from someone who had nothing to do with the original problem. Some things are better to have behind closed doors.
