reading BB i got feeling that buying other players corps is considered as hostile action, as a prelude to war and not tollerated by many players. does it still stands or is it open season for all corps?

LF,

Unless invited, bidding on the corps of an active player is considered a hostile act.

Seeing as how LF has asked that question, are there any countries or CEOs who would like to offer any corps for sale?

Some countries with rebels may welcome CEOs

jep, there are some players that invest more time in buying other players corps than in building their own (if any time is spend this way at all). usually they are backed up with multiple accounts and probably with some "friends" in background to help if someone decide not to play along...
hopefully there are some measures to keep those vultures away...

... with multiple i dont mean only CEO accounts. do not understand me wrong, those CEOs with most open accounts as far as my expirience goes are very good and fair players...

That makes perfect sense anyway, in real life corps wage wars by muscling out the other, You could Successfully obliterate a companies chance of Profit by buying many of his corps out leaving you with pretty much nothing, we did this on KB a fair ammount hah

AR, you mean Ciolli incident, eh? he,he nomatter for what cause, it was a nasty thing to do. but it was very efficient...

for those that buyed some of my corps: i dont have problem with it anymore as i put my corps under state protection and send others to go public. i dont appreciate that someone has CEO account to shop corps from other players and sell them to his/her countries, avoiding trouble of building and developing their own. i hope they were worth it as you didnt make a new friend...
