Anyone else notice how neat and clean the current oil graph is on TNN?

Now if only all the graphs were as reliable as oil........

the oil graph is neat cuz there is no Irak war in this game. Id like to see ressources spread in regions, aka having some regions with more oil and then ppl could try to manipulate the market with war. It would be a good mix of war and economy :p

Yes it would be interesting to see what would happen if people had to fight for their oil.

If the game designers would stop market interventions to supply commodities in deficit, then there would actually be a point to building strategic industries that might run at a loss, to fighting for resources, to diplomacy for the sake of getting others to supply scarce goods, and it would make common markets that much more important. Alas, they are reluctant to do so because there might be market crashes.

A "sim" market crash. That would be a sight to see. Maybe they are afraid of a "market crash" because the huge volume of trade traffic would overload the servers and then they would have a "server crash".

Hmmmmmmmmmm.

In real life there are market crashes. It also depends of war, for exemple if USA would of get rammed by the Iraq forces(rofl) the whole Oil market would of crashed and that for a while. People would have to negociate with Iraq to get oil and these situations would be very interesting in simcountry :)

ROFL Outland , that would be the day..... No one in their "right mind" would "ram" the USA. If the US got cut off from "oil", no problem. , remember Dr. Strangelove, lol ..... The only "negotiation" there would be is when to "stop", lol. Hmmm, just a big sandy parking lot with lots of new US owned and operated oil wells, lol. Sweet............
