I'm sitting here watching basketball and wondering what the players would do if all the rules got changed in the 4th quarter... =]

Thank you kindly Erehwon. I'm gaining new respect for Avalon's glowing opinion of you.

Matt, what the hell are you doing up? It's 5am by you! Heh, I should talk...

You know, just before you guys broke through, I had finally got my economies and manpower cranked and was actually growing my defenses significantly with the help of allies. Problem was, we didn't take action near early enough to prevent the obvious outcome of destruction of my air defenses through your attacking Hymy.

I slept half the day erehwon, as soon as I got home, and only woke up at night. I got tired trying to break your defenses with all the other things happening as well, and my sleeping schedule suffered as a result :)

Im working on finishing my posts now. After this, hopefully I can go into a long bulletin-board hibernatio period again.

We know of course that this change will not fit all. We do get positive feed back and we think it should have been done earlier.

The escape that is now created is a one way door. Not many players who are here to fight wars will use it as there is no way back.

For those who really wanted to get at others and destroy them or show they are much stronger, they will either continue the fight or if some of these countries become peaceful, and escape destruction, the point of winning the war is made anyway. Nobody will use this escape if he thinks that winning the war is possible.

The countries that are using this option will never fight again. It will allow some to escape the dangers of war but most will stay. We will count the conversions and report the numbers.

This is as we said before an initial implementation.

New users will have the opportunity to choose the peaceful status from the start and it is questionable whether unconditional conversion during war, even if they started it themselves should be possible.

I will keep reading your reactions and participate. Hopefully it will lead to a better result.

Detail attack logs are being checked more frequently now. There are also some fresh examples and these attacks were found in the log. As a result, there will be some tuning of weapons and whoever thinks that there are bugs in there is welcome to send us example attacks.

These must be detailed, very fresh and as short as possible. General complaints do not help and cannot not be followed up.

Real problems will be corrected immediatelly. Hopefully within hours. Most complaints in the past were incorrect and we do not expect to make many changes.

Recently some changes were made. Most were related to weapons that were added to the game recently.

There are some examples of the functioning of the defensive airforce. It should not be too easy to destroy but we have also seen that the power of missile interceptor batteries is underestimated.

Very well. I will prepare to recreate the errors myself and send the logs when they are fresh. I hope it helps.

I know that many reports in the past have been wrong. The problem with the air force is real.

Not many players who are here to fight wars will use it as there is no way back

I think all of them will, as soon as they feel they will lose. And I think that no one will bother declaring war when the other party has the option of backing out.

I have only a very few suggesitons regarding the balcne of wepaons. il post them too. Hopefully SOON I can stop posting on thie board, but your responses encourage me.

i personally feel that if your at war you should not be able to take that option of peace since you have the option now . If it takes you more than three breaths ta make up your mind, then dont do it they now have the option sure but i still think it is unfair to just land that out like that.

I have 100k MIBs in most of my countries, 700k in my 8 main countries, yet still a few hundred aircraft can bypass my defenses. Is that what you're talking about?

Currently countries which convert to peaceful status can still maintain an empire so long as they detach the country from that empire and pay an extra GC. That was not in the proposal most people liked and agreed with. If this is going to be a permanent feature then I would like to know because I can think of a lot of advantages that having an unattackable country would give me.

Just as some players have abused multiple accounts to avoid rebels and award penalties of past, I get the feeling this will be overlooked as well for the benefit of $5 a month and to the detriment of the game and disillusionment of its players.
