Well my point is that as a president you can approve a request to build a corp in your country.
As a new player you donít have that option.

Iím paying to play here and many of the old are paid by the Webmaster to play here. Its up to the Webmaster who they want as customers

What you suggest mertana can't be achieved. The Computer controlled countries run themselves based on limits and rules, and etc. So their state at any given time is the product of very complex circumstances. And messing with this could throw the whole game on it's head

Well I was going to give him the link to simspiders new country locator, but it's seems to be missing in action.

Not meaning to be arguementative, but it is a question of who was there first. That CEO put time and effort to build his corp there before you signed up. Then you came. Your claim is secondary to theirs.

Your parallel is not quite accurate either. You are referring to a situation where the corp is being asking to be installed in. The case you want is when the corp is already there. The analogy does not work. Would you also want all companies moved, all debts erased if you conquered a country? In both cases you are the usurper, even if in the first case you are taking over for a computer. You take what you are given.

Again, I imagine you would be hard to find a CEO who would not move the corp if it really upsets you.

People are paid to play here? Why wasn't I informed? I thought I paid the webmaster.

I don't think its that difficult to reset some values in the database for a new bought country.
There is no need for changing any rules.

Well, everybody have been here before me, but I have paid 35$ and want to have a fair chance to succeed in this game. It seem that most people here have been playing here for very long time and have no idea how difficult it is to start from scratch.

The guys with the highest score get some awards and can play for free, or... And the top players are probably the same month after month, or..

I don't deny that they have been here long before you...and almost just as long before me. I don't expect to get to the top anytime soon, but that is the point. Most all of the top players HAVE been here for a long time. They have spent far more time, effort, and yes, money than you or I.

Their supposed "free" play did not come immediately. They had to pay just as you do. Those rewards were EARNED. Those who earned them had a top country. They then took a massive penalty. It is not a handout. It is a reward.

Yes, there are a few people who are often at the top, but should I begrudge them the right for making it there? Those at the top make great targets; they have so far they can fall :)

>"It seem that most people...have no idea how difficult it is to start from scratch."

It's not often wise to attribute something to people based off assumptions. Granted, there is a war going on right now so you may not get much help, but I imagine in peacetime there are those that would help you.

Anyways, the monkeys are trying to help you. :)

I agree with your objections , Mertana. And yes, I am a frinely neighborhood monkey trying to help make it possible.

Most of the current top players didnt spend any money, ever, tim. They arrived on a gold credit(s) when the wolrd was completly depopulataed, won an award in the first month or two, and have been playing off largess or even making a profit from the game ever since. Maintaining an already-built empire reqauires infinitely less effort than building one from scratch. The difficulty in starting has already increased 100-fold since the world began due to massively increased assets, armies, and populations of the top coutnries. It will only get harder, and harder, and harder unless there is a bit more attrition (read: ANY attrition).

A friendly (really, I swear) neighborhood monkey

You sound like you know what you are talking about...unless someone says otherwise, I shall have to take your word :)

It looks like they are working on that population problem though.

I can't speak for the others, Matt, but I came to GR with one credit in my pocket. I paid to play one country and one CEO account. It took several months before I broke even on the cost of credits. Of course, I haven't looked back since...

This game is being slowly reduced to Upgrading corps, adjusting salaries and trade strategies. Now if you want to make this game the most boring you can, you're on a good way imo.

This is exactly the situation for a new player for probably many real time months. What can be done to make new players to stay and pay 5$ a month. Come on guys give it a thought.
