Twice now I've come across this in the past week.
The first time was a few days ago. I was attempting to take over a country but from the very beginning I could do no damage to the country no matter what weapons I used, and it could do no damage to my attacking forces.
Now it's happened again when I was halfway through taking over a computer-controlled country. Everything was going fine, and then suddenly nobody wants to kill anybody anymore.
"Your attack has been launched. However, no additional damage was done to the target. No damage to Belagua Furniture is reported. On the The Republic of Vindala X side no weapon losses were reported. On the Grey 3 side no losses were reported."
Someone (Eskon) told me it happened to him once before and he had to re-declare on the country to get rid of the freeze. Such a waste of time, weapons and effort though.
Anyone else having this happen to them recently?

In the first case I attempted attacking every type of target and none of them worked.
This time it froze up while I was attacking corps once I was down to the last 2 corps. It's now letting me attack military bases effectively though.

Yes this happened to me while testing the new units, i couldnt destroy a particular corporation no matter how often i tried.
I put it down to the unit at the time, although it seemed extremely strange at the time

ditto, I had a similar problem, the country had almost everything destroyed and I was trying to kill the last fortification - could I - could I buggery... very frustrating

I'm wondering if it was Special Forces? I couldn't get any activity out of them unless Attack Helicopters were involved, everything else seemed to work smoothly. I also noticed an odd situation where they would slowly increase the number of hand held missles on their own. that seemed very odd, and it was just 10 at a time.

Well first thing you should check when using the pull down menu to target corporations is does it have a location.
New corporations don't show lat. long. and although they can be targeted you won't do any damage.
If the location is 00.00 00.00 you're wasting your time until it is up and running.

Hehe before Cyberia jumps in here I better make a statement:
"I couldn't care less what anyone does to a State Run Corporation"
In fact, it's really no concern of mine what you do to someone else's corporation. Just be warned there are some people I'd help out if they asked.

Hummm maybe I should qualify the above ...
"I couldn't care less what anyone does to a State Run Corporation outside the control of my empire"

That happens for any weapon when you're looking at the ammo total on your war page. If you go to your actual Offensive weapons ordering page you'll the the real amount of ammo you have.
Missouri - it wasn't a new corporation, and has a lat / long.
On the first war that couldn't have been the problem either, as it was an inactive country I was attacking, and I attacked multiple choices of every type type of building. Corps, bases, cities, counties, etc.
