lol i wasnt critising your record in union unitfools. The southern hemisphere has dominated for years.

I was talking about the difference in attitudes towards lineouts and scrums. In the northern hemisphere, while traditionally the ball handling skills are lower. The scrums are more fiercly contested. I felt watson (s.african ref). Had a southern attitude to the scrums and was unwilling to let it be contested.

Certainly wasnt critiing the aussies record.

But, the idea that "you werent trying" is a silly one.

And btw the first 40 mins you played against the kiwis was he best rugby of the tournament imho.

As a rugby fanatic i really wish i could have been there..aah well maybee i can make it to france in 2007

"And btw the first 40 mins you played against the kiwis was he best rugby of the tournament imho"

How about the rampant French against the Scots, the sublime performance of the Welsh backs against England and New Zealand, we scored some of the best tries of the tournament!

As for Australia, they were the only team in the whole cup to get further than expected. Most teams seemed to underperform, even England played well below their capabilities. Just shows what a great team they are(sticks in the throat saying that). New Zealand, France, Ireland all went home disappointed, only the mighty Welsh played above themselves...and only for 40 minutes against England and 30 minutes against New Zealand.

The welsh scared us to death, and i was really rooting for you against the kiwis, i think it was pure fatigue that got to you.

One question to a welshman, why is it we always root for the scots and welsh. Yet the scots and welsh are always guaranteed to support two teams.

Their own

and whoever are playing england ;p

lol
yes the welsh played well, it was a shame they didn't beat new zealand i would have loved to have seen that :D
as for australia they can do alot better then they did, they allways seem to want to run the ball stright into the middle of the line (Stupid fools) when its obvious that its pointless and 4/10 times it ended in a hand over. tha australians need to brouden there game stratagies, as well as getting rid of these stupid rugby league players they hired (DUMB ASS COACH)

yeah bring back John Eales and get rid of matt rogers, who kicked the ball out 35 metres from englands goals with 1 minute left, knowing england has the best kicker in the world. The Aussies may have had their heart in the game but they played crap! Australia v's newzealand was the best game for skill i saw in the whole tournament but unfortunately for the Aussies they didnt keep that skill and form for the final, i was surprised England didnt win easier. Also i believe the super 12's has changed the way the southerners play the game, but the good news is the rubgy officals are talking about a 9 nations competition every 2 years so we wont have to wait long for REVENGE.
