I was born in Snow Hill before it was all demolished in the 50/60s and used to live in Rugeley Staffs before moving to sunny Hampshire 5 years ago

Hey neighbors. Not trying to hi-jack your thread or anything. But Andrew did you say SUNNY Hampshire? It looks like your highs are in the 50s F.
Here in The Sunshine State of Florida USA it is 78 @ 7:00 pm. We would be glad to have you visit.
No, I don't work for the tourism industry, but our ecconomy is still rebounding from 2 years ago.
Last month my wife and I took holiday on the Gulf of Mexico. White sandy beaches, half naked women (and men if you like that sort of thing), or Disney World and Universal Theme Parks amoung others (inland where we live). Come on over friends. I don't just want your money (though that would be nice). We very much apprciate your friendship! Really!
We may not allways agree with what our governments do in our name, but I hope we the people can allways be friends.
Okay. No more beer tonight! Going for soda and food now. Later.

Cool and bright in the English late autumn with all the coloured leaves flying around in the wind is ABSOLUTELY the best time of year to be in the UK, especially after the godawful humidity-fest we had of a summer this year.
PS Only pensioners understand Farenheight over here nowadays *grin*
