Yah Whirret xferring a country on top of Fully's would have been totally evil. I have to admit so evil I'd not even thought about it.
I don't know if anyone could piss me off enough to do something like that.
I salute your restraint.

Though one would wonder how you could get the award for first place by placing a crappy country on top of the number one country?

I hadn't even considered you'd transfer a crappy country in its place. Thanks for not.
But now Norweigan Elk is after it, so I may destroy it just enuf so its not #1 anymore. That should stop the attack nonsense

The real question is, does FULLY want to win? I would have thought that the fully empire would as a whole be better off if someone else took F.C. through the prize-penalty. The thing keeping F.C. at the top is it's assets, dumping them to avoid first prize is not really viable for this month, so barring a surprise points move by anyone else, it looks like 3 scenarios could occur:
1. Fully sucessfully defends F.C. and either Fully, Faith or Jinson pick up the prize. (ouch - that's a lot of assets from any of those empires)
2. SKP takes F.C., holds it through the month's end and collects the prize (ouch - still a lot of assets from SKP's collection of countries)
3. Someone else steps in and takes F.C. either from fully or from SKP before the month's end(the ultimate irony would be if Mr Whirrett stepped up again )
F.C. is looking like a country in terminal decline, the LLW situation will only get worse; 2.1 million of the 4.4m LLW/soldiers are aged 55-65 and as they die off, the dropping sustainable army in the country will mean that anyone who wants to take over will be able to do so.
This country will be an indefencible target until it's assets are lowered, the only reasonable way to get rid of the assets is to take the prize penalty onboard.
The bottom line is whether the prize penalty is going to screw over the rest of the fully empire or the SKP empire.
I want the cash, I'm ready to fight, I don't intend to keep the country after the prize. I guess from fully's speed in recapturing from
whirrett that he is ready to fight too, but really, is it worth more to the fully empire in someone else's hands for the next week or so?

Only partially right on the llw. Now that the country is well below the 60m pop threshold the country is starting to produce llw once again, young ones. and i can still transfer workers in.
As SKP was doing for Whirrett.
Or scenario 4) Skp takes Fully Completely but loses all his empire in the ensuing battle
I thought if you wanted a war , the sporting thing would have been to allow me to refresh the country and then come after me. As it is now ,you gain what? A bunch of GR credits? I'd have given them to you if you'd asked. ( I have given away many to others)
Or do you need the hundred bucks?
It is easy for me to drop the index,by destroying the schools and hospitals and taking more slaves. Thats why I wasn't in 1st place months ago
With 14 slaves I sat comfortably in 25th place with the #1 asset and war rank for months
It wasn't until W3 dicked around with pop and transfer limits that the country stagnated.

15 to 18 350,382 - -
18 to 21 270,426
new llw in Fully Completely
And in case you hadn't noticed the indexes are all high including the finance index of 146
Not bad for a stagnant country with only 40% employment

LLW : Its going to get critical before it gets better, FC will lose 2m llw in the next 10 game years, with the majority going sooner rather than later. Yes transfers and new growth can account for some of that, but not nearly enough to reverse the trend.
Whirrett never accepted any of my worker exchanges. I dont know why. They would have benefitted my countries more than his anyway.
Scenario 4 : This is similar to 2&3, I have not made any predictions about how many of my countries will remain by Oct 1. If I cared, I wouldn't want to accept the prize penalty either.
Sporting refreshments : no time for that.. end of the month is too close. you dont care about being sporting anyway, you want to kill ALL of my countries. I just want 1 of yours
Potential gain : credits/cash are kind of irrelevant, although I would like to add $100 to my online earnings this year. When I look back at my simcountry career, the big question will be : Did you ever win Gold World ? [Y/N]
Dropping the indexes : I dont think you can destroy schools and hospitals whilst at war any longer. Anyway, the country has 8000+ points (unmoderated), its mainly from assets, dropping the indexes isn't going to help much.

llw is not a problem. I can transfer 2 million workers in one evening if i wish.
I don't care if I kill all your countries. I just didn't want to be surprised by one later. And keep in mind: you are the aggessor in it.
The bottom line is:"Did you win GR" That would be a pretty hollow victory. I could have won months in a row, with my score, but I left it to others who needed the gold credits
There are others with higher scores who do as i did, and take enuf colonies to retard their score and stay *out* of the winners circle
