DH / interceptors dont work properely despite what the game gods might say

ive seen attacks of 500 fighters go straight through 50k+ interceptors, destroying the target before being destroyed. Its a fundamental flaw in the game imho making large countries indefensible.

Trouble is w3 havent addressed the real problem but have changed the way war indexes drop. As a result, its taken me around 650 nukes and 300k navy fighter missiles to knock 30% off this crap country

Well DH and Interceptors always seemed to work like the game documentation described to me so I never worried about them much.

I have to admit it's been quite some time since I was attacked by an active player but at the time I was satisfied with how my defensive weapons worked.

I do know there was complaints about a bug with Navy Fighters combined with nuke submarines and the use of Strategic bombers .. for now I simply have to differ to the people making the claim as I've not tested that combination of weapons and have no direct knowledge of the defenses they blasted through.

They did it so no matter what I suspect I have to for now admit the claim is valid.

I've had my questions about Fully Completely answered to my satisfaction however, since Ian didn't want it discussed in this forum that is the last I will say on that subject.

I don't know why you'd use 650 nuke missiles taking a country, the most I've ever used was just over 100 and that was using them exclusively to take back xferred countries which I ultimately deregged. I happened to have more than even I consider necessary or would have done it different.

I can't sit here and tell you there aren't bugs in the system, I've tested each one that I've had the opportunity/ability to test and so far haven't seen problems but there are many things I've not been able to find the right set of conditions to even perform a valid test.

I'd be the first to admit many areas need work.

The ability to sail around with a carrier damaged at 99% and perform flight operations is silly, not to mention the number of aircraft a carrier contains .. or the amount of point defense weapons needed to protect a fleet.

Even the number of offensive and defensive weapons needed in general is outlandish .. but that's something I've just learned to deal with.

Ive no idea how i used so many nukes either, looking through the logs. But i know how many i had before and how many i have now.
