The Faith Empire would Like to thank the following President - he knows who he or she is..
Original Message - "Spread the word" was sent by President Baines but here is the response to it.
Subject: Re: Spread the message
Message: first of all, any messgaes sent to me are kept to me..i wont be going public to the fed because faith is a member!..second, I think you'll find I'm not his, or anybodies lap dog, I have a small but very loyal band of players that we each support and Faith isnt one of these, so if any of this gets back to him, it certainly wont have come from me..Anyways, back to your message and I have to say that events are extremely concerning but I will not intervene either militarily or in negotiations.I am a land neighbour of Faiths in several regions and have no wish to get involved. At the end of the day, it's unfortunate that you may leave the game but this world has always had large empires that can take smaller neighbours, it's the nature of the game...I'd hope that you restart and I'd be happy to help if this was your choice..I just wont help with this conflict.sorry,
THE NAME IS WITHHELD FOR SAFETY REASONS

President Ryto addresses the 2189 CZCP National Chamber of Commerce Convention:
[3 minute standing ovation after the introduction]
Thank you all. I'm happy to be here today to speak to you, the managers of our business community, who have done so much to put the CZCP on the map. [Applause] We have achieved much in the two generations since this country was founded.
We set a national goal about a decade ago of a 200-150-150 economic mix; that is $200 billion per month in Industrial production, $150 billion per month in Services production, and $150 billion per month in High Tech production. In March we did $205.29B in Industrial, $185.81B in Services, and $152.58B in High Tech, thus surpassing every target line. [Applause] However, we must never sit on our laurels; within a generation we should aspire to produce a 250-200-200 mix. [Standing ovation]
On the corporate supply front, 60.57% of materials are produced right here at home, 31.31% come from our Kemi Club trading partners, and 2.62% on International contracts. That's 94.50%, which has to be higher than any other country. [Applause] Yes, it probably seems like that other 5.50% is always in shortage and on immediate order. [Laughs] However, through further expansion of the Kemi Club, hopefully we can close that gap even further. [Applause]
Currently our Hospital system is 131 over the Quality figure, with more on order. Soon 36 of them will be converted to use for rehabilitating the disabled for work. There's obviously the cold economic argument that says to put as many warm bodies as you can to work; however, we must not forget why we are doing it. I myself am legally disabled; I know what it's like to be denied work on that basis and to be told to "Lower your expectations." No person who wishes a good career should be held back if he or she can perform; no person should have to sit around collecting benefits instead of the paycheck they yearn for. [Applause}
| Thursday, May 20, 2004 - 06:14 am |
Our grade school system is at 181% Quality; our University system over 300%. Many of our university graduates now manage corporations abroad, especially in other Kemi Club member countries.
In the near future international law will change on the issue of Immigration. Our doors will be open, we will take in those seeking work, we will have the excess human services capacity to meet their needs, and we will boom economically from the infusion of additional labor. [Applause]
However, not everything is rosy. There are a couple areas of concern:
1. The percentage of our goods sold to other Kemi Club members has dropped about 13% in the last decade, leaving about 45% of exports at the mercy of the turbulent international market.
Given current contracting law, that is unnecessary.
2. The amount of national consumption goods covered by contract has shrunk to 41.39%, about a 20% reduction.
Hopefully all of that can be taken care of by further Kemi Club expansion. I'd love to get out to the maximum 25 members, especially with smaller economies that can supply us with low-end goods while we sell them our high-end goods.
When doing business, talk about the Kemi Club with overseas trading partners, with the businessman next to you on the plane, etc. You are salesmen; sell! [Standing ovation]
Our country is already noted worldwide for our fabulous Shares market. Empires are known by the roar of their guns; we have built a great reputation through the click of of our mouses. [Laughs, then applause] Our future is only limited by the bounds of our imaginations; we will be a major economic force in the 23rd Century. [Standing ovation]
