Part of it is that you weren't the only one to build a Bread corporation.

There's Our Daily Bread in the CZCP.

That and there can be wild swings in demand, because of it's wavelike nature. Don't fret, rest assured another wave of demand will sweep by, probably soon.

Well I suspect intervention from the Gamemaster.

Here is an other thing. One of my corps is fully supported by local and common market contracts.
In feb it had 327695 units of High Tech service in inventory the monthly use is 28050 units and the monthly quantity bought is 29900 units.
In march is the inventory of HTS reduced to 300,232 units???
With normal arithmetic the march inventory of HTS should be 327695-28050+29900=329545

This is the same for all corps using contracts.

Can someone explain this?

Almost exactly one month's contract purchase...

Did your HTS corp actually deliver it's contracted product that month? Possible it was short on supplies itself? Could be any number of non-bug items...

As far as I can see my HTS corp did deliver (no sign that it didn't)
There are other strange things.
This HTS corp is delivering 98% on contracts. Checking ‘General Data’
Turnover current month is 0.0 and its always like that.
But Turnover last month is 5,068M, Profit Last month 3,718M :)
Tax paid is 1,139M and Profit payment paid is 0.0.:(
My setting is 48% tax and 10% of profit.

I haven’t a clue what’s going on. Please explain how the economic transactions are calculated.

An other thing
I have slowly raised the Social security setting (a tedious job 2% per month) to 80% this morning game time it must be last January. Now it’s down to 74% why?

The HTS corp would show a text message in a red box, high up on the corporation page, if it wasn't delivering contracted goods.

Do goods sold on contract show up as turnover? Genie, do you know the answer to this?

As far as the taxes go, keep in mind that the game's tax accountants figure the corp taxes based on a calendar, so the taxes keep correcting to make the taxes right for the year.

About the Social Security - there is an old fluke there. I'm not entirely positive how it goes, others disagreed with me on how it gets you, but basically you'll be ok setting SS at 78%. If you go higher strange things happen. Matt, Genie, do you remember how this old problem farts on the players?

You must have a finance index of 150 or greater, else you ss payments will be decremented 2% a month automatically, until it reaches 72%.

At least that has been my experiance with it.
