Hmmm. For an undefended, undamaged fort, it appears to take a variable number of Jeeps to destroy, varying from somewhere around 900-1200 Jeeps per fort. I have not considered distance in my methods, so that may account for some of the variability. I am currently testing HAV's.

The number of HAV's required seems to depend on the distance from the target, but I am unable (read unwilling) to determine whether the dependence is linear. For destroying defenseless forts, I see little difference in attacking with HAV's alone or Jeeps alone, with a range of 900-1200 HAV's needed as well.
Coming up: HAV's and Jeeps in tandem!

HAV's working in tandem with Jeeps seems to help slightly. 510 of each is enough to destroy most forts, but apparently not all of them. 550 to 600 of each appears to be plenty for just about everything. Also, new evidence points toward distance not being the primary cause of variability in the number of weapons needed to destroy the forts. Perhaps w3c has already implemented the feature of quality mattering for weapons. In that case, the variability may be from the forts having variable quality values.
Hmm. I think that .. nevermind.
