8. War limitation for new players
New players, who are interested in the full game, including war, will enjoy a 100 game months protection from war. They will lose this protection if they start a war themselves. This feature is already in the game but the period is 36 months.
66. War is more complicated - requires some smarter strategy

92. Resetting countries in Kebir blue, Fearless blue and White giant
142. Large attacks in wars
Watching the war logs in recent days, we have seen that some of these wars involve many thousands of weapons in each attack. We have seen 8000 tanks attack a single defense fortification.
These numbers are unrealistic. Attacks can be massive but thousands of heavy weapons and bombers in each attack are not realistic. We intend to look at these attacks and limit their size.
Resets and the peaceful country features pretty much kill your plans.

You forgot something, Salamat--limit to the number of countries in a federation. I think it's 25. Hypothetically, a fed could take over the non-peaceful world if every non-peaceful country was part of the empire of a member country.
If the number of countries/empires in a fed could be unbounded, it might be conceivable that a large group of similarly minded people could take over the (non-peaceful) world, even with resets, rebellions, and war difficulties (since feds don't automatically lose their reset/deregged members).
With all those things (but without the protection from themselves), a large group of similarly minded people would probably go into a great civil war (or get caught for multying) before completing their goals--people here aren't that similarly minded!

a 10,000 weapon attack is over kill compared to the average size of this worlds army. this makes the 10K limit a minor inconvienance, not a joy kill.
rebels start making this hard after what...10 countries? over a short 6 month period 10 countries is alot to build a sizable military force.
true, C3's are alittle more difficult now, but still attackable.
as for the federation limits, i don't think any fed in this game will reach the 25 country limit. if one such fed does accomplish this amazing task, who would they attack/defend against? 25 players is about all the active (and minorly skilled) countries out there.
sorry, I just don't understand what the problem is.

I just want to add that since there are no 40mil pop countries left in the world, I think you would be lucky (or good) to get over a 1mil military.
not including officers, that is.

Hmm, it seem there is alot of great ppl in this thread. Well I'm Edward, a member of British Empire Federation. Hasn't been long in this game, so I guess much advise will be needed from you all.
I see that you all are talking about war and it rules. Well, I do admit the changes do make it hard to wage a war wih C3. And sad to say, after the changes, I haven't been to war or attack any country(if that matter) yet. So I guess some wise advise from you all will be great! As I'm planning to take a slave country, well no sure when cause really need to get my country into good shape first.
Well, thanks for all the input above, but still we are aiming the same target. Well, I know it seem impossible, but when there is a will, there is a way. So I guess British Empire will have to find the way.

10000 attackers compared to how many defenders? Alot of highly skilled marksmen, if you attack a c3!
I seem to recall some feds forming divisions b/c of too many members. There are more than 25 minorly skilled active players.
Resets happen every 4 months now.
Rebellions start after 5 countries (I think).

Well, I am not saying war is impossible, but the resets and other rules are not really conducive to world domination... On Golden Rainbow, a great movement, which I was once a part of, failed to achieve its goals due to the changes and the peaceful country feature... A veteran friend of mine and the leader of that movement, esperandus, eventually gave up... The attrition rates and lack of good players now is also depressing and will make it hard to find good active allies.
Is it possible? It very well may be... But it is going to be VERY hard.

Many used to... it is a sad say in SimCountry when it is said that 25 federation members is hard or impossible to achieve.

Once the Peaceful Country feature is in place and all countries had their opportunity to convert, we will increase the max. size of attacks from the current 10,000.
At the same time, review of the effects of war and continuous observation of the power of attacks and the defensive capabilities of weapons will continue. Recent changes corrected errors in the devastating powers of some offensive weapons.
