Seems like there is a misunderstanding in the way we converse...

Firstly, i am only interested in monopolising Silver corps. Reason, 50 corps is too much for the market. Try looking at number of corns corps in the market that still has a shortage.

Next, I mentioned that ALL corps are player owned. That, i mean was the corps are all under human player control.... Corps that are owned by CEOs in C3s are basically player controlled. So, if i build a corp in your country, can you adjust selling price for my corps?

'dead players', for me, means those that did not log in for more then a month. Their account are basically unattended for so long that its left to rot and die. Not some C3 which you may have misunderstood to be.

Following that, your case of "(if I had one, which I don't)" ... Great, since you don't have any, and if you have one, do let me know how it helps.

Lastly, I do, in fact, intent to have everyone close their silver corps so that i can push the price up. Everyone is invited to share my pie... if they have the courage

Looking at the market now, 27 of my 30 silver corps are still making losses, so what make you think anyone else would be interested in the silver industry? Any sane person (including you) would not be

PS: Free market system is an idea, a belief.... and I am working within that system to achieve my monopoly

you should try to monopolize a product that cant be easily built bc C3's. e.g. something that requires a large number of highly trained employees. C3's wont be able to build those corps easily, so thats one less headache.

Reason for choosing Silver is because the whole market only needs about 40 corps to fulfill all demands. Also, silver is an industry that is not making money....

Presently, someone is trying to be funny and building lots of silver corps. This is not funny to me. Sometimes i really hate people who just cannot stand others getting ahead, and resort to hurt others while hurting themselves.... maybe not themselves, just another email account with another registration... BOO to those who hide behind a smoke screen, if you want to take me on, do it with some pride. *grumble* *grumble*

I think Smiley is the only person in KB history to successfully achieve a monopoly - it was with wine.

I belive there is a game check for monopolys active... Meaning if more than a certain % of companies of certain product are owned by one player C3 countries build such companies.
Thus making a monopoly on your own would be hard.
A couple of players though maybe could.
Anyways - monopolizing and cutting produce would make price go up - but just temporarily - as soon as the price is high enough new companies outside the monopoly will pop up and reduce price.
