I would like the help from the public... raze those silver corps.

From statistics, all silver corps are making loses... So, i intend to monopolise this little market, and hopefully bring some life into it.

Have been building silver corps, but i need a way to get rid of the existing corps. The C3 owned ones are ok, they vanish pretty fast, but those player owned corps will not close unless they have a huge -ve asset

So this is a call for those who have silver corps to close them... The are not making profits anyway, so why not just close them and prevent futher losses.

I think i am going to faint, the number of silver corps have jump from 45 to 87.... Think i will just stop making more and see what happens.

why do people like to make losses? or are they simply stupid C3s

Ok, presently i have 30 Silver corps, and i have succeeded in bringing the price of silver from 30K to 70K.... to bring up the price further, i need more silver corps to close.

Any help from the public would be appreciated. If you are at war, please blow them out... if you own any, close them.

"Currently 1,746 users are active in the Kebir Blue World of which 1,132 are playing President of Country and 614 run large enterprises.

In this World, 1,929 countries do not have a President yet and 65,524 corporations are state owned. 14,257 corporations are privately held."

Well, considering those figures, you have quite a few computer controlled Countries to search and destroy Silver Corps to corner the market. Good luck to you. You will be one "busy" player ......

Good news and bad news:

From my information, all silver corps are presently owned by players.... dead or alive, but all human players.

A major problem i have: Most of those corps are own by dead players who have not log in for more then 1 month.

Hmmm, all owned by players ????

Better check again. I did, and the first 5 I checked, all 5 were C3's (Computer Controlled Country) [no player].

Example, 5 out of 5 checked ... Jc, maddogs9, Middle Kingdom M1, Kylie Rocks 2, Keisten ....

With a 100% probability of finding a C3's with a Silver Corp, I stopped there.

You got allot of "fishing" to do ...

Good Luck.

PS: Now why would I also "close" my Silver Corp (if I had one, which I don't), just so I could "pay more" for the commodity to just specifically you. Monopolies donít exist in a Capitalistic world, which SimCountry is, or would you rather have a something else.

lets see,
the one in JC is owned by me, (silver 03)
maddogs9, mine too (silver 02)
Middle Kingdom M1, me again (silver 01)
Kylie Rocks 2, mine too (silver 04)
Keisten, ohh... still mine (silver 05)

FYI, those are C3 countries, but those corps are all CEO owned..... thats me and almost in numbered order :p

For your case of closing your silver corp so you can 'save' on cost, i think you are making a big big mistake, unless you are running 70+ luxury goods or jewelery corps.

Lastly, monopoly is not possible in a Capitalistic world.... I must say i somewhat agree, but then, anything is possible, i am not giving up without trying.... Since this is just a sim, i believe i can do it or simply go bankrupt trying.

Great, buy them all up, but ....

Looking at their value and huge operating losses, maybe you should reconsider.... switching to Poultry (-$5,117,435) and Eggs (-38,306,189). Get a bunch of chicken$, $ell their egg$ and when they stop giving enough egg$, $end them to the old chopping block for more $$$ ;-)

Hmm, silver (+307,932) and sand (+23,216,478) doesn't have much of a market.

You know, even Corn (-1,328,932,645) and Soybeans (-1,797,033,186) looks like a good season right now... you should look into those as well. ;-)

Your key words in your prior post was "presently owned by players". Yup, they are C3's and yup, you don't own the Country. Although your Corps are in C3's, you stated "Most of those corps are own by dead players" which I wasn't aware a C3 is a "dead player",lol.

Also, just to clarify a misunderstanding you may have had about my "closing" of a Silver Corp, I'll just restate my prior response.... "(if I had one, which I don't)" .... Did that help??

Your statement was that you wanted players (all players) to close their Silver Corp's so you could artificially raise the market price of Silver. I just stated why would someone (or me) do that, I would end up paying more for the product (if I needed it) just so you can roll in the dough and vacation on some tropical island for weeks at a time, lol. That is not a "free market" system. That was my point.

I wish you luck in your quest to corner the market in silver and sand, but either you will need to buy up every one that pops in on C3's (and they do that with some regularity) or switch over to the gold world so you can send in your Navy and covert forces to "sneak attack" and destroy those "other" Corps. (That may be fun to do, lol).

Anyhow, good luck in your game. At least you have diversified your "portfolio" somewhat, which is keeping you from a rapid decline into bankruptcy.
