I find it difficult to have to type in the same price on every corporation to upgrade. Is there an easier to set a price for all corps when ordering upgrading

I don't think there is a way to set the same price for buying upgrades.
however, you can mass buy them using "buy upgrade" link from the corps list. I think they will all be set to Best Price.
Not sure if the following works:
If you are running a country, you can buy them and store them up, then they will be auto-sell to your corps at market price when your corps need them.

Correct. Upgrades, whether bought separately or "in mass", they are always first ordered at market price (best price). Your Country (or Enterprise) will automatically raise its offer if the demand exceeds the supply. There is not any option to either raise or lower your initial or outstanding request (unfortunately).
Try Cows suggestion. Also you could buy them up into storage when the supply exceeds demand, that way you will almost always get them at market price.
Do that tactic with any commodity that is in surplus. Your Country (or Enterprise) will save bundles of cash constantly.

If you click on each individual corp, and select improve efficiency or quality.
You can order your upgrades, the way you would normally order any product.

The original question was about "setting" the price.
