sigh men still dieing
| Friday, November 07, 2003 - 08:26 pm |
Men are still dying, but mind you, right now more Iraquis are dying at hands of Iraquis then Iraquis dying at hands of Americans. The Shithites and Muslims are fighing amungst each other, trying to kill each other off. Add those that Sadam would be tourturing to death, and realize that the casualty list of Iraqis is a whole lot less due to the war, then it would be if we never fought the war. If you say, yeah well, all those Americans that have died too, I say to you, a WHOLE lot LESS died in Operation Freedom than those that died on 9/11. Had Clinton done what Bush is doing now, even more lives would have been save. I mean, if we waited any longer to Atack Sadam, many more INNOCENT lives would have been lost, just because Americans want to sit on theif duff and do what? bobm penicilen factories?

you all know what would happen if the world were like this game
nukes nukes and more nukes end the middle east once and for all

I am so glad that in real life we are not like this game. Nuking is not the solution to the worlds problems , however for the begining of this thread.. I do not believe that the "war" is quite yet over. as long as United States is involved and are still losing men, and women over there, war is not over. We are there no matter if we listened to the U.N. or not, because we belive in the reasons we decided to fight. Terrorisim is not an acceptable way of life for you, Americans, or I. The U.N. has the same stoggy involvement practices we had when we hessitated to go to war over/with the Germans. We sat back while many died to another sick individuals rule. To many died before we decided to involve ourselves. Maybe thats why we fight now..Not to let this type of dictatorship take over the world. Although we are still there in a peaceful term, we still lose our millitarys life. Are we warmongers? No. Are we insane, No. I believe we are in fact the only fully militarised command that is capable of squashing this type of war on our own. And believe you me that if we weren't as we are the world would be in a sorry predicament should another Saddam or others like him rulled the world. Pick your leader, your protectors wisely. And maybe you could back up what is defending you even through all this controversy, through all the bickering, through all the people who say we shouldn't be involved. Name me just one country that would be able to protect the world from men like Saddam on thier own, no help from the rest of the world, and keep on protecting despite the disgrumbleing of the worlds procastonists. It is not like we are there to take the country over is it? Nooooo not likely. We are there to help them set up a new democracy in the best way we can. Mybe the now can get the kind of life they truly want...like to be able to put food on the table..have potable water, just the basic decencys of living, which were denied them with the previous leader, who lived like a king and his countrymen starved. While he murdered his own family for what? If this is what you want keep on blasting the U.S.A. We might not help out the next time..but not likely as we value our freedoms, and won't let another take it form us this way ever. And you know for a fact if Saddam managed to take it all over what a sad sad world we would be in. as ever Puffy

yes, but Mr. gamerobbed..., do you pledge your allegiance to America? Would you be willing to lay down your life beside those brave soldiers if you had to? My cousin is in Iraq right now. Said that last week someone that he slept with, joked with, and lived with, died. Their jeep was ambushed, and he and another soldier, were killed. What for? So that Americans can have another reason to quit this war? NO! but to give Americans another reason to FINISH this war. Wether Sadam is responsible for any terroristic atacks or not, or weather he has WOMDs or not, he must be taken out of power, and killed! He is a sick, distusting dictator. The closest human being to Hitler (although not even he is close) and had America just sat on their duffs and worked on our economy (like we did in WW II), Sadam could make himself stronger, more powerfull, and unstoppable!

Ahh but yes, Chesswolf, I would put my life on the line just as my father did in Vietnam, just as my brother did same era, Just as my father did in the Korean War, just as his father before him in WWII. If they were on Americas doorstep I definately be with gun in hand.. I have my grandchildren (of whom my husband and I have custody)right now training for the day to be in service in Jr. R.O.T.C. , They live and breathe for the service to our country ever since Sept. 11. As for America sending me to war I doubt thet would happen as I am a 51yr old woman, grandmother and disabbled, probably one of the few women players remaining. Those in this game for the long run know I am an agressivive player. I fought in high school classes for my fathers right to be in the service in a very controversial war in the 60s' when others were burning the flag. But then again I am a proud, American service brat! Oh by the way I no longer own gamerobbedmelol as I just dumped it today to take on a smalll war shortly to be declared. To prove a point that being top in the games list means nothing. I haven't declared war in so long (not since I had at one time in this game 29 countries!) it will be soooo much fun. But I know that the war will only take me say a day to win the country at the most. But you do seem agree we need to be there to stop and continue to stop people like Suddam...I am sorry for the loss of your cousin, and those that went with him, but then why didn't you go to war? Luckily I did not lose my family to war, but they served in combat for us left at home. I am kind of pissed that someone picked this measly thread on the subject as more intresting ones, more involvement with veteran players no longer here, are posted here. Puffy!
