@ Thebes, yes, you can manually save your Corps monthly production by selecting the specific Corp.

To do this, select your particular Corp from you main Corp page.

From the main page of the particular Corp, select “Product Offered” link.

You will come to the Corps details page, there select “Reserve Part of your Monthly Production” link.

You’re now on your keep product window settings. You can either set your Corp to “automatically” retain the quantity of product currently being distributed via your contract commitments, or …..

… You can manually enter a specific number in the manual block. Complete the change by clicking the “change reserved amount” button.

Word of advice. If you retain more than the Corps current production level, to build up a supply of the product, your Corp will have “no sales revenue” generated for that particular production month, however, the Corp still has to pay out for supplies, salaries, etc. Your Corp will very quickly go into quite a bit of debt.

Good luck with your game.

Nope not a good idea at all, having a green bar does not mean it is selling the product cheap, set your trade strategies and you will be fine.If you retain your products your debt will climb so high that you will not recover.

Thebes: It is not a good idea at all. That strategy has been abused badly, so the developers are changing the game to prevent it. Also, the high cost of the upgrades makes this strategy not really as great as it sounds.

Thebes, your ideas have been used with quite good success in the past. There have been changes, that would in theory make the benefits negligible.

But W3C doesn't have a good track record with their fixes actually doing what they are supposed to do.

I suggest that the best course of action, is to pick a good solid corp with no debt, and experment with your ideas. It is the best way to learn. Share what you learn with your allies. And don't publish it here. There are too many evil people, leeching off of the good players right now, for us to be freely sharing info in public.
