/Nod Mr. Carn Many players have corps that seem to stay below the MV to go public, that isnt a mistake. Most players have taxes that are MUCH higher than a C3, that isnt a mistake either. Now if your actually looking for a corp to buy, I would assume you would check the country as well. If it belongs to an active president with high taxes chances are your not welcome.

Your bidding on a corp in a country with 70% taxes or so when the same corp can be had at 30% in a C3. I have heard some of the stupidest crap from CEOs I could imagine. After winning a bid on a corp while I was away, getting messages asking if I could please lower the taxes so that they can make more money. CEOs complaining that a weapon corp is making losses and has laughably gigantic contracts to my country and asking if I can cancel it. If you cant/dont look at what your bidding on you shouldnt bid on it. Sending a message to a president shouldnt be too hard either.

Anytime a CEO bids on your corp, you raise the MV or send a message and they place another bid, it is an act of war in my opinion. Economic war. Which in SC is the same as total war.

My response has always been the same, to fight the war. The corp will be sabotaged in numerous ways to ensure its collapse, my CEO will be bidding on his CEO and Country, I will hunt down other corps in the CEO and destroy them by war, and if the CEO has a country my fleets are already off his shores waiting for the war declaration to clear. Chances are my allies are doing the exact same thing. You started the war, and ill finish it. I might even go after you on different worlds. When you become the focus of my resent, just sucks to be you. You got off lucky Mr. Carn, you should be happy. There are many presidents like myself, and we dont shy away from helping each other against such CEOs even if the presidents are *enemies* on some worlds.

As you can imagine, I have a real disliking for CEOs. I would rather destroy my own corp than see some CEO have it. You would probably say I'm over reacting, which I am. Then again I do need something now and then to keep me interested and a dumbass CEO is a viable target.
