My allies and I just killed a 20M pop country. We completely destroyed every possible target. The name of the country is "Panicia". Every target is down. There is nothing else we can possibly attack. But the WI is still 2.2!!!! What the hell is this.

I don't know if this is a calculation bug or the proper implementation of the WI calculation as documented. I just haven't sat down and added it up. The only thing to do now is wait for the country to regenerate population and cities etc, kill them again, and hope the net effect on WI causes it to go down.

We attacked this country within seconds of the war becoming active, and the attack was well-coordinated. This is so stupid! It has happened many times now. Even with the WI changes, it still happens. I thought perhaps this lameness was confined to low-pop C3s, but evidently it also applies to 20M countries in some circumstances.

What kind of insanity is this? Can you imagine a real world war, where the invading country levels every single city, every single weapon, every factory, kills all visible people, and yet, does not capture the target country? Ever hear of a real country withdrawing weapons home after this, waiting a month for the cities it just destroyed to rebuild, then attacking them again?

Jesus christ. I don't even know of any other war games where such unrealistic things are possible.
