It seems there is little point currently for being in a common market other than for the points you get. Common markets are supposed to increase efficiencies and profitability by reducing costs associated with trade such as tarrifs, inefficient transport etc

My suggestion then is that either there should be a trade advantage in taking part in a common market, or a trade disadvantage for the international market such as a 10% cost penalty, which would approximate the inefficiencies that impede trade outside common markets.

You sell for $1000, but only get $900 unless it is in a common market, then you get the full $1000. The excess $100 is removed by the system as representative of costs.

CEOs in a country get full price when trading between enteprises own corporations, increasing profit and taxes for the country.

This provides a reason to have CEOs active in your country, provides a purpose for a common market other than score, and is a further way for good players to seperate themselves from bad players.
