I only believe in universal, publically available information. Guides, advice, strategy, information gathering, maps, everything.
Such tools should have been built into the game in the first place anyway.
Sharing information to one and all makes the game better and the community function better. I despise cloistered players who hoard knowledge for themselves like gold, depriving the community of active, intelligent players (or at least the attitude if not the players).
I want EVERYBODY to be as knowledgeable as possible, or at least as knowledgeable as they want to be. Even the gosh-darned deluded multi-ing kleptomaniacal poopyheads, and also even the citizens of *Edited for reasons of civility* itself
Give even the most crazy-seeming person accurate informatoin, and eventually their opinions will be rational. usually this means they will agree with me ;) , and rational opinions can only be good for everybody.
Fearing to share information with other players out of a perceived short-term self interest is conterproductive: it makes things worse for you.
Individual countries and empires are (very) secondary when compared to the behavior of the whole.
And faith will, sooner or later, realize he has built his own personal hell. But these realizations require accurate knowledge.
Competing and cooperating with ignorant newbies and those deluded by w3cs incorrect game documentation is not only not fun, it is meaningless.
I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on this respect.
Regardless, I(or rather, Genie-bless his soul!!!!!!!) actually found a partial GR map I made a few real years ago. Im not sure if its accurate enough to use with the mapper or not. If it is, then it will be available to all along with the FB mapper as well.
So it wont be "classified" if it exists. Too bad for you.
