If you set hiring to 100% for all your corps, the ones that pay better will get full hiring first.

Suppose corp A is paying at salary n and corp B is paying at salary n-10. Obviously unemployed workers will hurry over to corp A first. So suppose A gets up to employment 100% while B is still at 60%

Now suppose changes in finances & salary are such that B is paying salary n+10. Obviously unemployed workers will go to B rather than A now.

But will a percentage of *employed* workers in A say "aha, a better job" and quit A in order to get paid more over at B?

This would certainly be realistic, and more aptly model employment issues within a local economy, but I can see how it might be processor-intensive, as it would require checking not just unemployed workers in a country but *all* workers each time the updating routines run.
