Another interface that needs to be improved is the navy map interface. I can think of four things that would tremendously improve naval navigation.

First would be to have a target country, and the fleet automatically go as close as possible to the target country. This would be an optional method of navigation, as some people would rather not be as close as possible when waging war. Moving one fleet to another fleet is an optional method of navigation, and perhaps it could be expanded to include this suggestion for countries with whom you are at war, or possibly their fleets.

The second improvement would be to have the names of countries show up when the mouse hovers over the country, much as in the land map. I have gotten lost navigating through regions I am relatively familiar with. Being able to see what countries I am looking at would help prevent getting lost. This isn't as important as the third or fourth suggestion, but should be implemented eventually.

The third improvement would be to simply have the zooming feature more like the zoom feature on the land map. Part of my loss of coordination was because when I clicked to zoom into a particular area, I went to a completely different area. A remedy would be to draw regions like the regions of continents, and to clearly delineate those regions.

The final suggestion for this post would be to show the coordinates of the center of the current section of map. If the coordinates of a target are known (they can be found easily enough), navigating toward the target would become much easier with this improvement alone.
