The one problem with installing a quality level for weapons/ammo I could see is how do you rate weapons you already have? I know for a fact not a single one of the weapons I have bought is at 100 quality, everything in the game is usually about 130 quality and many times im paying for what appears to be 200 to 250 quality stuff. They would have to go back threw every single weapon purchase to figure out what the qualities were, and when you consider many weapon orders get filled by different corps that could have changed since then that would be a serious headache.

About the SRMBs, they fire 4 missiles each per attack. It could just be me but it also seems that SRMBs station nearby fire as well. So you might be getting hit by the defenses of 3 or 4 places. SRMBs also destroy what is shooting before it fires so attacking them with missiles/ground forces can be abit tricky.

The naval platforms should be super expensive to their effect because
1) They are mobile, can go anywhere in the world
2) They are mobile, can strike anywhere in the world
3) Like the real world buidling such things cost 10x to 100x as much as the land based version
3) Alot harder to kill. 1 LCBM Battery goes down alot faster than one Cruise Missile Ship.
4) W3 probably doesnt want everyone using only fleets for offense/defense as there would be millions of them all over the place. Bad for game speed/processing.
