Oh, and Nimz, I think cutting out "wins awards" from what I said misses the point. The game itself sets awards, and the natural goal in such a situation is to win those awards. I think being able to win awards is an important component in this game, as that is a direct comparison between my country and how I manage it with everyone else's country. There's an award component and the playing for free component -- the former always ensures the latter, while the latter can be achieved without the former. Again, I think it's only half the game to only do one and not both. There's a reason Simcountry bothered to create a scoring system and make awards, after all.
