NF fire 4 missiles per attack, same as interceptors. defense doesnt fire all its ammo in first round, only one (not true for all units though- tanks, artillery...). attacking unit (fighter plane for instance) has only 2 missiles avaliable per attack. in this case defense can fire twice before fighter does. if strategic weponary is involved with only one missile per attack, all defensive ammo is used up, before startegic weapon can launch.
according to documentation 1 INT (30% hit ratio) is worth more than 1 NF (25% hit ratio). there should be 1/3 of NF more to break the defense, but documentetion tends to be inaccurate so i suggest you believe what you are told by more experienced players.
