You want my opinion Hat on how to stop the *war* between Presidents and CEOs? Here you go, not a new idea, a very simply idea, and a very sensible idea.
Instead of changing corps or game features to force Presidents to get along with CEOs you can do this...
Create a new option under settings named
Allow CEO corporations
This box would be checked upon registering a new country.
If a President does not want CEOs to build or bid on his corps, he needs only to uncheck the box.
This would remove his corps from the bidding lists, remove his country from the building lists, and he wouldnt have to worry about CEOs again.
If a President wants CEOs he has only to leave the box checked. CEOs can bid on his corps, and make build/move requests into that country.
For CEOs they still get all the C3s in the world, which is many more countries than what players take up. CEOs can also still build in inactives as they are largely noobs who never change any of the country settings, and those that want CEO corps. There would be no real change in the number of places to build in, or corps to bid on.
Having that option would allow Presidents and CEOs to coexist in harmony and never cross pathes unless they are both in agreement to do so. End of the war between CEOs and Presidents. No more CEOs getting hit with Trillions in Debt, no more Presidents losing corps they have spent time building.
Easy, Simple, Sensible.. But does W3 take the easy, simple, sensible solutions and put them into the game? Usually not, maybe this time they'll listen though.
I would start a poll on this, but I have already started one. Its somewhat interesting to point out that it is those that vote against polls for these kind of things that end up crying on the BB about how someone stuck them with Trillions in debt and ruined their CEO. If this kinda thing went into place, everyone is happy.
