Selling materials by countries product cash error

The problem was reported during the chat session and was very serious. It allowed accumulation of cash by trading in products by countries and exploiting an error in the way such transactions where handled. We have solved this problem. Cash that is received from sales of materials is now added to the product cash and not to the main cash.

War limits are not enforced

We have made an effort to solve this problem and limitations are in place. An additional problem with wars of countries against their own conquered countries that were the result of war treaties are now prevented. The solution can trigger efforts to block legitimate wars and may require a further update.

The Attack process during wars

During attacks, the attacking forces direct their fire at one type of defending weapon at a time and always in the same order. We will look into a possibility to randomize the order of the attack and make it more unpredictable.

Ordering of message on the Forum

We were requested to change the order of messages on the forum. We can of course make the change but we are running the risk of many users asking for a different order. Our suggestion is that this issue will be put to a vote. We will accept the results of the vote. So can someone formulate this proposal and put it to a vote please?

Defending Military bases

Military bases remain protected even if the defense priority is set very low. We have looked into the procedure and it is indeed preventing zero-defense for military bases. We will leave this unchanged because leaving bases unprotected does not make sense in war and can easily be misused.

The education Index

The education index is computed out of the three partial indexes: The school index, the high-school index and the university index. The education index is computed as two times the previous education index + the lowest of the three partial indexes, and the result is divided by three.

The partial indexes are computed by dividing the number of schools (or high schools or universities) by the number that are needed for reasonable education.

The number needed depends on the number of children and youngsters that are going to schools and universities.

The number of schools that are needed is: the number of kids in the age of 4 to 12 years, divided by 910.
The number of high-schools that are needed is: the number of kids in the age 12 to 18 years, divided by 910.
The number of universities that are needed is: 40% of the number of people in the age 18 to 21 + 10% of the number of people in the age of 21 to 24 (that are not disabled), divided by 19000.

Education cost

Some players increase their education index to very high levels to get a higher score. We will look into the possibility of making the education costs rise faster when the index reaches unrealistic levels. The same can apply for other indexes.
