Look guys. In all honesty, I don't think that this is the place for this argument. General Dirt (a veteran of god knows how long) has announced he is retiring. If you scroll up, you will even see that members of LDI, with whom Dirts guys are at war with at the moment, have had the respect to say thankyou, good luck and goodbye. There was even a come back soon from one of them.

Now, as you all know, I try my damn hardest to get on with everyone of you out there in SC land. I don't like enemies - and that is why I have only ever had two of them. When it gets personal against me (as it has done in the past) I get offended, so if what you lot are saying is true, I can understand that you would all be affected.

BUT.....and its a bloody big but;

This is a game. It is not real life. Ameche - its not like your ever going to meet Dirt. Dirt, its not like your ever going to meet Daconia. Daconia, you will never meet Sam. Sam, you will never meet Jason. Jason, you will never meet me. So lets all do ourselves a favour and remember that it is not real life. Names picked at random by the way!!!

I can understand that things do get tense on the forums and in chat at times. I have been there and got the T-shirt. But lets face it - is it really worth getting pissed off with a name on your computer screen? I will be the first to admit - I have, but I have also quit bothering to even respond to these threads. Whats the point? I waste my time typing, i'm never going to meet that person in RL, and if they did - they would probably run a mile.

Anyway. Dirt - I wish you the best of luck in your forthcoming operations, and I hope that you make it through OK. Even though i'm not religious; my prayers are with you and your family. I hope you have a good christmas and I will speak to you on here after them. After your operations, you have got to come back here (on your bro's account if needed) and tell us all how well you are doing. You will be missed. Yet another SC vet calling it a day.

You may not like him - but please, lets show that we can be a good close knit community and that we can put the past behind us, and show this dude the respect that he deserves from all of us.
