yes it is mainly for show a tradition we have a govener general to sit in her place bc the crown of england is defenetly way to busy to say yes or no to our new proposed laws. it is typicaly not used.
and it was a 2 party that deside to try a coalition it was some sort of deal with the ndp and the bloc and they were waiting for a reason to help the liberals desision easy. the main reason i dont like this idea is once again deon. he has resigned from the leadership of the party and under this plan would become the primeminister for 2 months. and i dont think he would be able to keep everyone in control. would be more arguing and fingerpointing and nothing getting done. and the no confidence vite was about the financial update they put forward cutting funding to all political parties saying nothing is realy wrong. or they havent done enough reserch into a "bailout" program
