I am quite the realist. I am well aware the great few people that change the world are very rare indeed. They just have a habit of turning up in the western world 90% of the time. Africa is ripe for such a person. A directionless continent constantly fighting amongst themselves getting nowhere.
You dont need money and technology to make progress. The people of ancient civilisation lived better than people do today in some parts of the world. Civilisation is the key, a nation must be united, working together to allow development to occur. Africa needs somebody to inspire some unity in them before their world will change. Charity and aid will just keep them living in poverty. Once Africa gets its act together aid could play a major role in moving the continent forward.
