I just honestly do not feel compelled to share all information with others. This is a competetive game. During times of war, most feds I have been a part of gather information about their opponents, compile and share weapons stats, etc, and they do not of course share this information with their opponents. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Using tools and resources that others cannot have available to gather such information is a different story.

you are tempting fate here, cajeme. If, and I stress IF , I wanted to use all my advantages of resources and know-how wiping you out again and again for simeternity would be a very simple matter.( Others might wish to note that mr cajeme here was recently a fedmate of mine ingame :) )

using scripts to gain advantages over others (not making the info public) is against the rules. It is totally, completely unfair, and even ignoring that issue, it is against the spirit of a 'competitive game' as well as the letter in this case.

That was one of the ideas behind cooperation.

if people ignore w3c, they should simply ban anyone who casues them a great deal fo traffic , no questions asked.

In case you dont know cajeme, ive surely spent much more time than anyone else working on SC automation and scripting - and I still think this.
