Actually, Xeolyte, that isn't the definition (with regard to argumentation) of objective. These are the two relevant definitions of objective:

1. Uninfluenced by emotions or personal prejudices: an objective critic.
2. Based on observable phenomena; presented factually: an objective appraisal.

#2 is the best definition. Refuting all arguments against a position doesn't make it true, only likely.

The ends do not justify the means--and anything short of total free-market capitalism (that is, a system in which each individual is left free to do as he pleases so long as he honors his voluntary mutual contracts and does not initiate physical force or fraud against the person or property of another without his consent) is an illegitimate and absolutely despicable means, regardless of its end result.

The preceding quote suffers from the logical fallacy of begging the question (including as a premise a part of the conclusion); and if something isn't logical, it sure as hell isn't objective. Most religions suffer from this fallacy, this being a good example:

1)The Bible says it was written by God
2)Anything written by God must be true
3)Therefore, the Bible was written by God and is true.
