Corps should not automatically be closed. An earthquake can destroy a building but not a bank account. If my enterprise has sufficient funds to rebuild a factory it should have the choice to do so. I think a corp costs 200 billion to build and 400 billion or so to upgrade. So for corps worth less than say 600 billion it would not be worth keeping open, but if a corp is worth over 1000 billion its a big loss. A product is a reputation as well as an object. I would think corps valued over a certain value would have establised themselves as a known and trusted producer. If a Ford or any real life big corps factory got destroyed in an earthquake they would rebuild it and continue the name.
I think earthquakes should cause a level of damage at a certain cost to rebuild, players then should have the choice as to pay the price or close down.
