You may say enviromental hysteria, but as far as I'm concerned, for good reason.
The penny dropped years ago about the damage we are doing to the enviroment, as FarmerBob has already pointed out.
Unfortunatly until recent time, the big leaders of business concidered enviromental issues to be one of an inconvinence, for they would have got in the way of short term profits, which as we all know, would not please the investers and share holders one bit.
If we were not going through either a major alteration or the callapse of the capitalistic system, these big business leaders would have had the opportunity to put there effort's into working with the governments to find a reasonable solution. Instead of knowing they need to do something but due to this credit crisis, arn't able to. Leaving the resposability to these faultering (due to the credit crisis) governments who can't do it on there own.
At the end of the day it will be up to the people on the street to tell big business and governments that we are willing to sacrifice our standard of living so that the future can have the standard of living (freedom) that we take for granted.
All we need is love, water, food and shelter.
All we need is Love, water, food and shelter. Love, water, food and shelter.
Love, water, food and shelter are all we need.
Back to Canada. But I don't think there are many Canadians in the place. Just Yanks.
