I do think that asking for easy ways to make large prodits is in fact silly.
With price limits being relaxed, profits depend much more on shortage/surplus. The number of 'notoroiously unprofitable' corporations is shrinking, and I suspect you thought it larger than it really was anyway.
Competitivenss of small cuntries with large countries existing as pay to play players is an important concern, but one I feel will be addressed.
As for hard limits on small countries, I think they do fine if managed properly. I just deregged a 7.5M pop country on FB which had ~110 B monthly income and a war rank of 10.
But absolutes are irrelevant. if all populations were between 1M and 500k, a 10B monthly profit would be amazingly huge. And there is nothing wrong with that.
small players can team up and take out larger players. There are some very notable examples, but as sheik and I both said, it wont really happen again until or if offensive/strategic sharing is enabled.
However defending themselves against those 50M empires is another story. Very doable.
my FB training fed is pretty dead at the moment , due to my inactivity. But there have been feds out there which have lasted real years, actively.
I see this period of time, and the next 6 months, as a building, developement, and finishing time before SC starts to advertise and grow.
