Ok lets look critically at 1903. As Nix suggests.
U.S. population: 80,600,000
Average life span: 47 years
U.S. homes with a telephone: 8 percent
Unemployment: 3.9 percent
Federal budget: $520 million
Average annual salary, postal worker: $924
Average annual salary, schoolteacher: $358
A night in a hotel: $2
One pound coffee: 13 cents
Loaf of bread: 5 cents
Stamp: 2 cents
Ok so we kill off 269,400,000 of our citizens.
We cut our life expectancy in half.
We eliminate all aircraft, spacecraft, computers, electricity, refrigeration, food inspections, safe drinking water, all but 8000 cars and all of our paved roads, typhoid can break out in New York City and we move 80 percent of the remaining population back to farms. Then Nix will be happy.
Wow. What a paradise.
