I tried to sell my french teacher a stolen car stereo. I think that was just before a chair got thrown through an open window, or was it after, when we were burning our book's?
A. what could be done to correct our failing schools.
1)Bring back the cane.
2)Wire every room up with CCTV.
3)There should be a parent's evening once every two week's.
B.what should be taught?
1)That's a tricky one. School's had a shared part to play, which rightly concentraited on math's, language, science, all basic tool's to survive or exel. The churches part was morality and the parents part was respect. But now with the break down of the church aswell as the break down of families, school's are going to have to take on a bigger role in the upbringing of the kid's. But it wont be able to unless the parent's show there full support to the school and embrace it as a very important part of their live's, not just their kid's. That way the kid's might respect the system and teachers. Then we need all the religious leaders to get together and come up with a religious curricculum that creates a united understanding of morality. Thus not confusing the kid's. Maybe each moral lesson could be taken alternatly by a representative of each faith reading from the same book.
This will probably mean the school day will be extended to fit it all in, thus keeping them off the street's and away from bad influences.
What do ya rekon?
