Population based limits would be much better, but I dont expect that jozi would agree to them. I am trying to avoid suggesting things I am certain will be refused :P (maybe I shouldnt be doing this...)

Anton, countries of 100M population cannot be used to determine the rules for all of the other countries in the game. The average popualtion for all countries on all worlds is perhaps 12m. Smaler corporations would go hand in hand with smaller populations and smaller corporation sizes.

Decrease the corp sizes and populations by a facotr of 3, decrease the corp staffing size byt a factor of 3, and little is different excelt processing time and realism.

Likewise many more people want to increase their assets than decrease them. Prize winning only effects a fwe players per month, and the rules cannot be defined to suit them at the expense of the community (again)

You are good at seeing abuse with asset trading...however, I dont think its as severe a problem as you do. The same things can be done within a single empire, and so what? Multiing would/does give an advantage, but it is not THAT much greater than simply using a single empire, and sooner or later, I expect that Multiing will be illegal on all worlds anyway.
