Zemon, just caught the part where you said you had 3 countries and a corp. To up your level when you have more than one country it takes the average of all. For example, let's say your 3 countries have a DI of 25, 50, and 75. For level 2 purposes your DI is 50. If you get the one country to 80 your average is 51.67. So basically, if one country goes up, the overall average does too, but the other countries don't bump up. I think. Getting a little 'noid from getting it wrong before! The bigger your Empire the harder it is to pump up your averages and move to the next level. What some players do is have different countries in their empire concentrate on different things: One country might be an economic powerhouse, another one with a DI of 500 (wink at Jo, Holy military Batman!), etc. As long as you keep your people reasonably happy in all your slaves this works well. Good luck. BTW, when you said you had a corp, did you mean a CEO or did you mean you only had one corp of your own in your 3 countries?
