Tom, Jozi...whoever.

Did you guys think this auto corp salary reduction thing through? I don't mind it, but weapons corps should be immune as long as they are kept cash positive. I have a few corps empire wide that have been infused with cash, yet are still forced to lower their salaries to a minuscule level. Who wants to work for a corp that is paying 30 for a salary index? I fail to see how lowering salaries (which drives off workers and lowers production) is going to bring the corp profits again.

I have no problem with forcing players who have cash sitting around to pay their corp debt off to bring a corp back to profits or reduce losses. I just do not want to see the weapons and ammo market get as screwed up as it used to be because of these salary reductions because we all know that weapons corps rarely see profits. Ammo is doing well as usual, but weapons aren't.

Does the auto corp salary reduction feature include the "cash positive criteria" to be implemented? As long as the corp has cash (even if it is put in by the owner and not earned through sales) it should never see automatic salary reductions. We would be looking at catastrophic failures of weapons corps, and quite possibly some of the more cyclic corps like gasoline, and aircraft fuel.

On a side note, is there anything you can do to increase the stability and profitability of the aircraft fuel industry? I've been playing a while and have rarely found those corps to be able to sustain regular profits for long periods of time. Maybe reducing the amounts of required supplies or decreasing production limits on them would help. Do you guys fine tune things like this on an individual basis?
