i think that your missing my point t

i agree that bad behavior should be responded to. that is not at question here

i once receieved a message in my ceo, from a player that had just taken control of a country, it was dry, blunt, to the point, "please move your corps from "x" country, as i'm going to try all state corps," (i forgot the name,) i mean dry, not allot of ass kissing, but no insult either

the next message i got was from a vet, "x has asked me to move my corp from his country, and out of principle i'm going to destroy him, who's with me" i was shaking my head

this is the behavior i'm speaking of. its easy to sit back and provoke some one. when thiers an elite guard that sticks up for its own, and justifies any one among them. for any bad behavior. their are many cases of this.

i'm not pointing fingers, and i'm trying very carefully to not accuse any one of something, i'm trying to explain, why some one new to sc, would read a thread like this, and go "i don't think its worth a year of my life to play with people like this,"

until this new exchange, my only post was in support of the "10 commandments," which i beleive are good for new players to know. i'm not debating that

i'm simply stating that issues get escalated, when they don't need to be, and that can scare off allot of new players, i'm impressed that wendy had the guts to say what she did
